And the ump says 'Play Ball!'

We kicked off our first baseball tournament today and it was great getting to see all the coaches, players, and parents. The kids are so cute and look so professional in their uniforms! This tournament is the Rawlings International Salute to Baseball and features teams from all over the world including Puerto Rico, Panama, Colombia, and Venezuela. I got to practice my Spanish a lot during registration!
Flags representing each country in attendance
First game of the day at 8am, the 'big kids' aka 18U playing in Champions Stadium

After registration last night I went to Tijuana Flats on the recommendation of several of my co-workers. It's a sit-down or order to-go chain with tex-mex style food and a full salsa bar. Needless to say I was not disappointed and will certainly be going back to sample more of their salsa. I might even prefer their food to Burrito Boy... but it's too soon to tell for sure, that's a big step. I am excited to take Dani Jackson here when she visits and have her try their hottest salsa since she is always asking for more heat.
For you Dani if you dare... muahahaha
Nothing but sunny skies and 90 degree weather in the forecast for the week ahead (minus our afternoon thundershowers, typical). And we have to 4th of July off work, we're trying to brainstorm some fun things to do that don't involve going to the park since it will be maddness. I was able to lay out and get some good sun yesterday before I had to go to work. Starting to get some serious tan lines now :) Val and I are headed to spend the afternoon at EPCOT, should have some good pics to share when we get back.
